NYE party?
My buddy was going to have a small one, but has changed his mind, and is now going to spend a quiet evening alone with his girlfriend. So my choice is down to hanging out with my now sober recovering drug addict friend and his girl for a non-alcoholic NYE, or hanging out at home and getting smashed by myself. *read: with you guys* Decisions, decisions….

Yeah. I took this week off on purpose after my last contract was done. I was going to find another job in the new year, but someone I worked with a couple of months ago gave this guy my number. Apparent he has a few contracts lined up and needs a partner. He wanted me to start tomorrow, but I’m too busy and told him I can’t start till Monday. And there you have it.

Right when I needed it. At 8:30PM on the night before NYE. It’s funny how shit always seems to work out for me. I wasn’t even going to start looking until Monday. YAY!!
