Have you ever wondered how an eyeball tastes?
I just got back from a Japanese restaurant where part of my order was salmon kamma, or a salmon head for those that don’t know Japanese food lingo. You order it for the cheeks, which is the most tender and juiciest part of any animal FYI. (Pork cheeks are to die for.)
And then I looked at the eyeball and thought to myself, “Hey, a lot of cultures eat eyeballs, I wonder what it tastes like.”
It’s like chewing on a little rubber ball except that rubber has more flavor.
And now you know.
